Lovin My Crown Hair Care Drive
Celebrating and Caring for Every Crown
Since 2022, Lovin’ The Skin I’m In (LTSII) has been committed to supporting children and youth or those navigating out of home placement and unhoused who have textured hair through our Lovin My Crown Hair Care Drive.
For children experiencing foster care, having access to the right hair care products and tools can be about more than hair—it can support identity, confidence, comfort, and a sense of belonging. Through the generosity of the Green Bay Packers, Brown County United Way, City of De Pere, De Pere Christian Outreach, local businesses, and community members, we have been able to provide more than 1,000 hair care products and tools to children and families over the years.
This initiative helps ensure that children with textured hair have access to products designed to care for and celebrate their unique crowns.

- Children and families supported throughout Northeast Wisconsin
- Community partners engaged in meeting a culturally specific need
- Greater awareness of the importance of culturally responsive care for children unhoused and/or in out of home placement.
